How it works
From your first message to a finished portrait on your wall - here's what to expect.
1. Get in touch
Fill in the contact form or email hello@emilybrownfineart.co.uk with a brief idea of what you'd like. I'll reply within 48 hours to discuss your commission and answer any questions.
2. Share your photos
Once we've agreed on the details, you'll send me your favourite reference photos. I'll guide you on what works best but good lighting and a clear, sharp image makes all the difference to the final piece so the better quality, the better detail I can pick up for you.
3. Secure your commission
A 50% deposit secures your place and I'll give you a confirmed turnaround time - typically 2 to 4 weeks. I'll keep you updated as your portrait takes shape. I also offer a payment plan so please look at my prices page for more details.
4. Your portrait is created
I get to work on your bespoke piece, drawing every detail by hand. Each portrait is crafted with care to capture the personality and emotion of your subject. I will update you along the way with progress photos to ensure you are happy with how it is taking shape.
5. Delivery
Once complete, you'll pay the remaining balance and your portrait is carefully packaged and posted to you - ready to frame and treasure forever.
